Ah well… my time here in Europe draws to a close for this year.

There were some great little shows in Germany and Belgium organised by friends in both countries. My promotions team were on holiday so the shows were not promoted too heavily. If you knew, you knew, as they say. Some shows were solo and others featured jamming buddies old and new-ish. Jon Sanders and Toni Geiling in Germany and Robert & Dries in Belgium – thank you!

The new album (recorded mostly live to tape at Revolver Studios in Waiuku NZ with Neil Baldock at the desk, bless) is bubbling away slowly – simmering if you will. Mostly in the form of me listening to the current mixes on high rotation on the laptop while pottering on the artwork and day dreaming as the Austrian rain falls steadily outside.

Friends who have had sneak previews are quite pleased with the music and there’s a general consensus that the title track ‘Strange is the world’ hums along quite nicely.

I’m looking forward to up coming shows in NZ and catching up with everyone at home.

See you out and about.

Much love

Dave
