so… skint to the bone i make a concerted effort to start job hunting… it’s a week or two between gigs the pantry runs low and i haven’t bought olives for months… the album sounds good though, maybe that’s all that matters… i look in the mirror at the hair and the beard… i got enough coins clangin’ together for to buy the saturday herald to look in the classifieds… but instead i find Tom Waits on the very first page of the entertainment section.. talkin about life on the road and the stage… needless to say that slowed up the job hunting… i reach for a guitar an begin to pray… again….
